We are a growing business of 1000 people which runs Tebay Services, Tebay Services Hotel and Rheged on the M6 in Cumbria, Gloucester Services and Cairn Lodge.
We are currently expanding our Facilities department and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration (Catering Equipment) Engineer to join our busy team.
As the Catering Equipment Engineer for the Westmorland Family, you will carry out PPM scheduled and reactive repairs to site based catering and refrigeration equipment, alongside completing proactive inspections and remedial repairs and managing energy consumption via BMS systems.
You will carry out reactive repairs in line with SLA timescales escalating any unresolved issues, perform risk assessments before all PPM and reactive works, and order all required parts and equipment for jobs. You will manage F-Gas register and ensure work reports and necessary compliance documentation is sent to the Helpdesk team promptly within set timescales, as well as managing and maintaining the asset database via the Helpdesk.
The successful Catering Equipment Engineer will have a Trade specific City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 17th edition Electrical qualification, Asbestos awareness, L8 Water legionella, and C&G 2078/2079. You will have 5 years experience in a similar role.
You will need a full clean driving licence, and your own vehicle. You will be based at Tebay Services, but there will be travel to our other sites when required.
This position is working 4 x 10 hour shifts per week, and will include weekend working and participating in an 'on call' rota.
£32,000 p.a, including free lunch on duty, discounts at our sites, 33 days holiday per year, pension contribution and life assurance benefit.
